Carpe U pronounced kär-pe yü is a call to action to “Seize the Moment” in order to reach your full potential in Spirit, Mind and Body.
Carpe U is for anyone who is serious about maximizing their God-given ability to reach their full potential.
The Principles of Carpe U
1. Carpe Diem. Latin, meaning “seize the day.” We can create our own opportunities. Each moment is an opportunity and when we seize the moment to better ourselves in spirit, mind, and body, we initiate habits that build our desired lives and futures. We use fitness to develop our bodies, but we are more than just our bodies. Spirit, mind and body are not separate entities, rather they are part of the whole. We want to create a balance, a character that withstands circumstance. It is then that we reach our highest level of possibility. “He said, ‘There are only two days in the year that nothing can be done. One is called yesterday and the other is called tomorrow, so today is the right day to love, believe, do and mostly live.’” – Dalai Lama
2. Invest in you! Seize the moment and use it to invest in you. A stronger, better, healthier you either starts (or stops) with you. Only you have the power to initiate it. Allocate your time and resources into prioritizing a better you. You’re worth it! You are your greatest investment. “Be the change you wish to see.” – Ghandi
3. Do something! If you don’t like what you see, then do something about it. Every little bit helps. Don’t just sit there. “You don’t have to be great to start, but you have to start to be great.” – Zig Ziglar
4. Persevere. Mistakes and failures are inevitable, so when you fall down, get back up and keep moving. “Only he who gives up is defeated.” – Paulo Coelho
